How to get a court order for eviction in Missouri?

I manage a 3 apartment building for an out of town aunt. I have a tenant who has a month to month lease. He hasn't paid in over 6 months. I've been trying to avoid paying for legal fees. Is there any other way around this.

Can I change the locks on the doors and keep him out?

OH MY GOD. just start by sending him a certified letter to pay and vacate immediately.. give him 30 days in the letter. GO to the county court house and file eviction papers its a set procedure and its probably cost like $40.00 or so. have him served and then the process is in motion.. Consult with a lawyer ( real estate for the procedures and follow thru with the court dates. ) he wont be our for months.. Place a lien on his bank accounts and report him to the credit bureau.. DO SOMETHING WUSS..

Hey, you need to be careful. Locking him out is illegal. You need to serve him a 3-Day notice, Pay or Move. If he does not pay or move, you have to go to court to start the eviction process.
Have you tried to seek for legal advice? Give him/her a 3-day notice or else he/she gets reported by you. Hope you resolve this very soon.
