How long can can my leasing office not give me a mailbox key?

Ive already moved in but the previous tenants did not return their key so the post office has to change the locks. This should've been handled before I moved in, Im not getting any mail. Ive already had issues with the leasing office but I really like the apartment. What can I do? Is there any legal action I can take?
