How much does a locksmith charge to change a lock and reinforce the door?
Recently people I know had to call a locksmith after hours.the charge was $110.00 including the lock.

Checking Angie's List in my area (Minneapolis/St Paul, MN), you're looking at least $100 just to put it in, if not more. It really depends on the company since some companies will charge you based on how long it takes to install the lock, some charge a flat rate, and some made add on extra fees (i.e. travel charges, etc.).
Generally, locksmiths will only handle issues directly related to locks. For the casing, you'll need to have a handyman, someone who specializes in doors, or a security specialist (this is not the same thing as a locksmith).
