Is it possible to change manuel locks and windows to power, and how much would it cost?

I just got a 2005 chevy cobalt and I love the car, but don%26#039;t like that it%26#039;s manuel power locks and windows, do you know who could do this and how much it would cost?|||most repair shops can do it or your dealer. as far as the cost it isn%26#039;t cheap to do electrical so you may want to consider suffering with the manual locks and windows, besides the more stuff you have in your car the more problems and expense in repairs.

20 years as a mechanic good luck|||Switches.

Wires.

Motors.

Solenoids.

Fuses.

Labor.

More than your car is worth.|||Motors for the windows, Switches, wiring, fuse panel, a larger alternator, door panels, many other electrical intricacies all add up to more than your car is worth. This is just for power windows. For the locks there are similar areas but not as extensive|||If you have to buy the parts new, and pay someone to install them, it may not be worth it. You will have to replace the fuse box and half the wiring in the car to do it correctly. Not to mention Interior door panels, if the switches go in the center console you will need that too, Window motors, window regulators, lock actuators. Deal with it, or just trade it in.

Don%26#039;t have someone hack it and do a %26quot;make it fit%26quot; kind of job, it will lower your resale value, and may not work well or look good.|||it is very costly, my mom has an 07 chevy cobalt and she asked the same thing u did about the locks windows and a sunroof, they said that it would not be a good idea. my moms is a 2 door so it isnt so bad having manual locks but if u have a 4 door its a pain in the ***|||trade it for what you want/need...
