How to change lock cyclinder on a 1994 chevy 1500?

okay my key was sticking randomly yesterday. today turned truck on went to store. when i tried to turn the key off it would not budge. i even tried to use vise grips to turn it not a budge. so i could not turn my truck off. i tried moving it from park to dirve then neutral no budge. usually if you try to turn your key after engines on it makes a grinding noise. mine just kills the accessories. please help. had to remove intake and unplug wires to carborator to turn off.|||YOU NEED TO TAKE OFF STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN LOCK ( BOTH TAKE PULLERS ) THERE IS 1 SCREW THAT HOLDS THE CYLINDER IN PLACE . HAVE A NEW ONE AND SWITCH THEM OUT AND REASSEMBLE WHAT YOU PULLED OFF TO GET TO IT . IF YOU BUY THE CYLINDER AT AUTO ZONE THEY WILL LOAN YOU THE PULLERS WITH A DEPOSIT THAT IS REFUNDED WHEN TOOLS ARE RETURNED .
